inReach Messenger Vs inReach Mini – Which is better for motorcycle adventurers?

I’ve had my Garmin inReach Mini for a few years now, and I love it. It’s packed full of features and gives me peace of mind should something go wrong, help will be on the way. But I’ve only ever used it to text that I’ve arrived at my camp for the night. Besides that, it sits attached to the shoulder strap on my backpack, usually covered in dead bugs.

So which one is right for you? You can’t go wrong with either one. If you want an excellent device for navigation, route planning and the Garmin Explorer App, inReach Mini is your best bet. On the other hand, if saving a few dollars, extra battery life, and check-in messages whilst still having the SOS feature is all that’s required, an inReach Messenger will take care of business just fine.
